It all started with a wrench, a work ethic, and a dream. Back in 1968, Peter Richardson launched Sidney & Richardson Plumbing with one goal: to keep Ballina’s pipes (and its people) flowing smoothly. From humble beginnings, the business quickly earned a reputation for honesty, quality workmanship, and doing the job right the first time.
Over the decades, Sidney & Richardson Plumbing expanded its services across Lismore, Byron Bay and beyond, becoming a trusted name for residential, commercial and emergency plumbing alike. Today, Peter’s son Brad proudly carries the legacy forward, backed by a close-knit team and generations of loyal clients.
While Peter still lends a hand from time to time, it is now Brad leading the charge. His son Jacob is proud to be part of the family business too. He helps out during school holidays and whenever he is available, keen to learn the ropes and everything his dad and granddad are able to pass on.
Brad has been part of Sidney & Richardson Plumbing for as long as he can remember. Having grown up in the family business, he learnt early that being a great plumber is not just about pipes. It is about people.
Today, he leads a tight crew of 12 to 15 skilled professionals who bring grit, good humour and real experience to every job. Backed by decades of local know-how and fully equipped radio-dispatched vans, they get things sorted fast without the fluff.
